The Vacancy
The Wine Society is seeking an inspiring and commercially astute Head of Fine Wine to lead the continued growth and evolution of our fine wine plan. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of fine wine at one of the UK’s most respected wine retailers, where member satisfaction, authenticity, and long-term value take precedence over short-term gain.
The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of the global fine wine market, strong industry connections, and a flair for storytelling that resonates with both seasoned collectors and new enthusiasts. If you’re passionate about exceptional wines, building lasting member engagement, and leading a dynamic, knowledgeable team, we’d love to hear from you.
The Wine Society has recently celebrated its 150th birthday!
We are a mutual company that puts our members at the heart of everything we do. We source wines from all corners of the world and sell them to members at fair prices, backed up with high levels of customer service.

We are a responsible business, committed to making sure that everything we do, across all aspects of the business, is good for the people we work with, good for the products we sell and, above all, good for the planet.
